d7x Upgrade Request for dCloud Subscribers
Existing dCloud subscribers and dCloud “Lifetime” license holders may request your complimentary d7x Upgrade subscription using the form below.
Offer is applicable to dCloud subscriptions, and dCloud “Lifetime” licenses, and d7 Premium subscription licenses that include dCloud. An active dCloud account is required.
To be clear, this offer only extends to dCloud accounts, and therefore the only “Lifetime” licenses eligible for this offer are dCloud Lifetime licenses.
These offers do NOT apply to original d7 Premium one-time purchase product licenses. The terminology is sometimes confused, as those who purchased the original d7 Premium (as a one-time purchase, without dCloud) did receive updates for the life of the d7 Premium product line, which ended at d7 version 10.4.35 when the original d7 product line was discontinued. These license holders are not eligible for this offer based on this one-time purchase alone. An active dCloud account is required.
You must agree to these terms to receive the complimentary upgrade to d7x:
- You agree that you are “trading” your dCloud account for a new d7x account, and the two are not compatible. This means you are giving up usage of your existing dCloud account entirely, even if you purchased the “lifetime” dCloud option, and that the account may no longer be used through d7 Premium or dSupportSuite.
- To clarify, dSupportSuite owners who are utilizing the dCloud server (NOT the Self-Hosted option) will forfeit all dCloud access and usage rights. For early adopters of dSupportSuite, the dCloud server was used for communication and configuration updates between the “Mgmt Console” software and the deployed client software that resides on a customer’s PC. (If you have deployed dSupportSuite client software using the dCloud server, you will be REQUIRED to migrate to a self-hosted server in order to continue using dSupportSuite. We will allow a time period for migration, and provide assistance as necessary. Instructions for the migration process can be found here.)
- You agree that in order to continue your complementary d7x upgrade, you must also continue any previous dCloud subscription agreement for the duration of your d7x usage. Termination of your billing agreement for recurring payments with the original payment processor (either Paypal or Stripe through our cart) for any reason, such as cancellation request or payment failures, will require you resubscribe at the current pricing rate to maintain your d7x license and usage.
- To clarify: Yes, dCloud “Lifetime” licenses are eligible, and you may exchange your dCloud usage rights for a lifetime d7x license under these terms. Currently, all “Lifetime” licenses (including both dCloud and d7II) allow usage for up to 5 technicians only; therefore the upgraded d7x license will conform to the same 5 technician usage.
